While making continuous efforts for the healthy life of citizens, he has always taken the initiative to provide modern medical facilities to the public through Bharati Hospital, along with the government's primary health centers and rural hospitals. He has created an extensive network of excellent health services in the constituency.
- In the year 2020, when the COVID-19 pandemic occurred, he made diligent efforts to provide urgent healthcare services and prevent loss of life. He played an important role in keeping people safe from the virus.
- Through Bharti Hospital, he established an extensive network of healthcare services in the Palus-Kadegaon constituency, as well as in Sangli district and western Maharashtra. He provided advanced medical facilities, including oxygen and ventilator beds, in rural areas.
- During the COVID-19 period, Dr. Patangrao Kadam distributed free sanitizers on behalf of Sonhira Sugar Factory to the citizens.
- An advanced disease testing center was established at Bharti University Medical College and Hospital in Sangli for the people of Western Maharashtra. This center provides accurate diagnosis of COVID-19, measles, HIV, tuberculosis, and other diseases using RTPCR technology. The lab is equipped with modern technology and is guided by experts.
- Considering the increasing spread of COVID-19, a Dedicated Health Care Center was established at the rural hospital in Chinchani (Tal. Kadegaon) for the convenience of the people in the constituency.
- During the COVID-19 crisis, the staff of Bharati Hospital were specially honored by the officials of the Southern Command of the Indian Army for providing excellent medical services.
- Bharati Vidyapeeth Medical College and Hospital actively participated in the human trial program of the COVID vaccine developed in India, making a notable contribution.
