During the COVID-19 period, without caring for his own life, he personally organized labor trains for migrant workers stranded in Maharashtra due to the lockdown, helping them return to their home states. He arranged for their travel expenses, as well as water and food, ensuring they reached home safely.
- Due to the COVID-19 infection and lockdown, thousands of migrant workers were stranded in Maharashtra. Following the call of Congress party president, Mrs. Sonia Gandhi, he personally took the initiative and organized labor trains on his own to help the poor workers in the state return to their home villages.
- Vishwajeet Kadam arranged for travel expenses, food, water, and sanitizers for approximately five thousand workers traveling in the labor train, ensuring they safely reached their homes.
- Through the Maha Vikas Aghadi government in Maharashtra, Vishwajeet Kadam actively participated in the planning and facilitated the journey of over ten thousand workers to their native places.
- Through private cars and buses, Vishwajeet Kadam provided facilities for migrant workers and their families from across western Maharashtra to travel to their native places.
- Dr. Patangrao Kadam, through the Disaster Management Cell, distributed free ration kits to migrant workers and poor citizens.
