As the guardian minister of Bhandara district, I provided immediate assistance and implemented necessary measures during natural disasters such as heavy rainfall, floods, and the COVID-19 pandemic. I made decisions in the interest of the public and ensured their implementation, which accelerated the district's development.
- During the COVID-19 pandemic, I held regular video conferences with local administration, giving instructions to officials on necessary measures to control the spread of the infection.
- I took the initiative to ensure that COVID-19 patients received timely treatment and other necessary facilities.
- I conducted on-ground visits in Bhandara district to inspect COVID centers, isolation wards, and facilities for COVID-19 patients. I actively participated in resolving issues and ensuring the availability of healthcare services.
- The sanitizers produced by Dr. Patangrao Kadam Sonhira Co-operative Sugar Factory were distributed in Bhandara district.
- When flood conditions arose in Bhandara district, immediate assessment was done, and necessary measures were taken. People affected by the floods were relocated to safe places, and all kinds of help were provided to them. Active participation was taken in the rehabilitation work.
- Preventive measures were taken to avoid damage caused by floods. Meetings were held with the administration to control the flood situation, and necessary instructions were given. A flood control plan was developed.
- Under the Swachh Bharat Mission (Rural), the village of Kanhalgaon in the Lakhandur taluka of Bhandara district secured second place in the national competition for public toilet construction. I visited Kanhalgaon along with the Speaker of the Assembly, Hon. Nana Patole, and congratulated the villagers by honoring them.
- On the occasion of August Kranti Day, I participated in the Tricolor March organized by the Bhandara District Congress Seva Dal in Lakhandi.
- I immediately visited the families of the newborns who passed away in an accident at Bhandara Government Hospital and offered my condolences. I also visited the hospital and took urgent measures to address the situation.
