I participated in the Shaktipeeth Highway protest at Azad Maidan in Mumbai, opposing the Nagpur-Goa Shaktipeeth Highway project. During the protest, I interacted with the demonstrators and discussed their concerns.
This highway project is expected to create significant challenges for farmers, as the loss of land will directly impact their livelihood. While implementing such a large-scale project, it was essential to take the local farmers and residents into confidence, but unfortunately, that did not happen. As a result, resentment against the government has grown even further.
I assured the farmers that I firmly stand with them in their fight for their rights and to protect their lands.
