The Bhoomipoojan and inauguration ceremonies for multiple development projects in Vasagade (Tal. Palus) were conducted in the presence of esteemed dignitaries, followed by an interactive session with local villagers.
The projects include:
- Concrete Road Construction under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (₹30 lakh)
- Closed Drainage and Road Concreting in various areas through the 15th Finance Commission (₹14 lakh)
- Road Improvement from Raju Chougule’s house to ICICI Bank (₹7 lakh)
- Concrete Road Construction from Bazaar Road to Appa Dhere’s house (₹30 lakh)
- Concrete Road & Closed Drainage from Pramod Sawant’s house to Baban More’s house (₹5.50 lakh)
- Closed Drainage Construction in Sutar Wada and Hazare Wada (₹9 lakh)
- Gravel & Asphalt Roadwork from ICICI Bank to Raju Chougule’s house (₹7.35 lakh)
- Asphalt Road Construction from Rajaram Pawar’s house to Digu Sutar’s house and from Bandu Gulwe’s house to Amol Bhendwade’s house (₹10 lakh)
- Road Improvement under the MLA Fund from Baban Chavan’s house to Digambar Sutar’s house and from Bandu Gulwe’s house to Amol Bhendwade’s house (₹10 lakh)
These development works have significantly transformed Vasagade, ensuring better infrastructure and essential amenities such as roads, water, electricity, and drainage. A commitment was made to continue allocating necessary funds for the village’s further development, upholding the legacy of Late Dr. Patangrao Kadam and working tirelessly for the overall progress of Palus-Kadegaon constituency.
On the auspicious occasion of Navratri, a heartfelt darshan of the village deity was taken, and best wishes for the festival were extended to all. Senior citizens and women were personally greeted with respect and received their blessings.
