In 2013, when Maharashtra faced a drought, Hon. Dr. Vishwajeet Kadam undertook a 532-kilometer foot march from Buldhana to Sangli to bring the issues of drought-affected people to the government’s attention and ensure they received help. The march passed through nine drought-affected districts of the state and attracted significant attention. The march received overwhelming support, and Hon.
